In 2003, five churches joined together to form a new and vibrant worship community. Each congregation, unique and steeped in a different worship style and service emphasis, came together and formed a cross-cultural faith community. We became “Mosaic” United Methodist Church to capture the fabric and spirit of this new faith community.
In May 2004, after a time of prayerful discernment, the Lead Team of Mosaic proposed selling all properties and purchasing a new location to build God’s new church. In May 2005, approximately 19 acres including a barn and 2 houses, were purchased at 8008 St. Andrews Church Road, where we are today. By the fall of 2005, plans for the building began to develop along with many ministries which continue today. The first service in our new facility was in August 2008, with the Dedication in October 2008.
We give God all praise and thanks for using us, for what God has done, and for what God plans to do in us for God’s Kingdom.
“And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.” (Philippians 1:6)
